01Who we are
PRAJ.AI is a financial intelligence service for restaurants and other food businesses. It is operated by [Legal company name] ("PRAJ.AI," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through praj.ai, app.praj.ai, our email inboxes and our text alerts (together, the "Service"), and how we use and protect it.
The Service is built for businesses. In this policy, "you" means the person using the Service, and "your business" means the business and locations you add to it.
02What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, mobile number, password, business name, restaurant type and locations.
- Business documents: invoices, receipts, statements, POS and sales reports, and anything else you upload or forward to your PRAJ.AI inbox addresses.
- Questions and feedback: what you type into chat, your replies to text alerts, and messages you send our team.
- Team members: names and contact details of people you invite to your account.
Information we create from your documents
We extract structured data from your documents, such as suppliers, dates, line items, prices, totals and sales figures. We use it to build your dashboards, alerts and answers.
Information collected automatically
- Usage information: pages and features you use, alerts you open, and the device, browser and approximate location of your connection.
- Cookies: small files that keep you signed in and remember your settings. See Cookies.
Your documents may contain information about other people, such as employee names on a payroll report or a supplier contact. Please send only what you have the right to share with us for running your business.
03How we use it
- To provide the Service: read your documents, build dashboards, send alerts and answer your questions.
- To run your account: sign-in, verification codes, password resets and service notices.
- To check accuracy, including asking you to confirm figures we're unsure about.
- To support you when you contact us.
- To improve the Service, for example by learning new invoice and report layouts so they're read correctly next time.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or your business data. We do not use your business data to advertise to you or to anyone else.
We may publish aggregated statistics that can't identify you or your business, such as average food cost trends across restaurants. We will never publish or share your individual figures.
04AI processing
PRAJ.AI uses artificial intelligence services to read documents, organize data and answer your questions. To do this, the relevant content is sent securely to our AI provider for processing.
AI can make mistakes. We run automatic checks and ask you to confirm uncertain figures, but you should verify important numbers before acting on them. See our Terms of Service.
05Text messages
If you choose to receive PRAJ.AI Alerts, we use your mobile number to send you account alerts and insights about your business, and to reply when you text us back. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
- Agreeing to receive texts is not required to use PRAJ.AI.

07How long we keep it
- While your account is open, we keep your documents and the data extracted from them. We keep structured financial data for up to five years so you can compare trends over time.
- You can delete individual documents, or your whole account, at any time.
- After you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep certain records. Backups are cleared on their regular cycle.
08Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each business's data is kept in its own private workspace. Access by our team is limited to what's needed to run and support the Service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you promptly if a breach affects your data.
09Your choices and rights
- Access and export: download your data from your account, or ask us for a copy.
- Correct: update your account details, or ask us to fix information that's wrong.
- Delete: delete documents or your account in your settings, or by emailing us.
- Texts: reply STOP or turn off alerts in your settings.
- Emails: unsubscribe from product news with the link in each email. Account and security emails will still be sent.
To make a request, email hello@praj.ai. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 45 days.
10California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can make a request yourself or through an authorized agent by emailing hello@praj.ai.
The categories of personal information we collect are those in What we collect: identifiers and contact details, commercial information in your business documents, internet activity within the Service, and approximate location from your connection.
12Children
PRAJ.AI is a business service for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
13Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
